| Silver Mercury Dime Golf Ballmarker
- otherwise known as a Liberty Head
This ball marker is made from a silver Mercury dime, back during an era when coins were beautifully produced out of 90% silver. It has a brass stem attached so that you can stick it in the green and so that it will not get mixed up with pocket change.
This is not a glue job but a silver bearing soldered connection on the "tails" side.
The picture was taken with mirrors so that top/bottom/front/and rear can all be seen.
When polished, this dime just glows on the green like a piece of jewelry.
It is easy to find in your pocket. You won't embarrassingly fumble around rushing to mark your ball while the other players are waiting for you to get out of the way so they can putt.
I have now sold hundreds of these. I have not had one person say anything negative about these markers.
Plus they are not expensive.
Many buyers have bought multiple markers to pass out among their friends and relatives for gifts.
They make good door prizes at golf outings and other sporting events so on occasion a league will buy several to hand out at events.
