decurrent
Referring to a mushroom's gills, pores or teeth attachment to stalk
- when the spore bearing surface ( which could be gills, pores or teeth - depending on mushroom species ) is attached to the stalk of the mushroom and slightly descends it -

Here is a gilled mushroom - an Agaric. This one has decurrent gills. Photo of gill attachment to the stalk which is decurrent.
Gills on this Pleurotus mushroom are attached to the stalk and run down it quite a bit. These gills are therefore decurrent.
The degree of gill attachment to the stalk, or non-attachment, are important identification characteristics.
